I traveled to West Hills Rehabilitation Center on June 4, 2014 for an 86 year old lady. She had trouble writing as her right arm was in a sling, so we helped her learn how to write with her left hand. Who says old people can’t learn new tricks?
It wasn’t pretty, but it worked and now she has her estate taken care of like she wanted.
It’s always an experience of mixed emotions visiting assisted care facilities, nice to help those who need it and a fresh reminder that we need to make every day count as they are limited.
